Not to any of you guys, I promise. Mostly to work. Actually, completely to work, and all those associated with it.

Let’s start with my manager, who scheduled me alone, on a week close, on a night when we have to change all the signs, flyers, messages, etc, on top of the normal week close jobs of cutting the film, counting the week’s cash, preparing the delivery, doing the deposit. This is a two person job even without the new promotion.

Now let’s go to my studio partner, who told me she would be in today. Which means I wouldn’t have to do the week close, just help change all the signs. When she didn’t show at 11 I called her. Ooops. No, she’s at another store today and, oh, isn’t that so silly, she forgot to tell me. Fuck you. I had to call appointments and reschedule, since you now wouldn’t be there to do them. They weren’t happy and they took it out on me. And I had to do everything at close, which meant I was there until 7:10, instead of 6.

And speaking of customers, fuck you guys too. Okay, not the nice passport people, or the family who had the $150 order, but everyone else. No, your kid wiggling around like that isn’t cute. It’s damn annoying. For fuck you and him. And an especially big “fuck you” to my last appointment. You came in at 5:15, already late. And then we had to fit all 12 of you in the photo. And again, your kids making funny faces? Not funny. Annoying. And then, when you kept me there, taking photos until 6, so I couldn’t start closing until the time when I should have been leaving, you only brought enough cash to buy the package. You wanted to buy more, but apparently there’re still people in today’s world who don’t have debit or credit. And no, we don’t take only partial payment. So fuck you for making me work so hard to get the shots, teasing me by originally ordering a huge order, and then switching out for a little one.

And I’d like to give another fuck you to the regular customers at the self-checkout who couldn’t figure out how it worked. It’s not hard guys. You swipe the item, put it on the scale, repeat. Morons.

And finally, the last fuck you goes out to the people on the bus. Starting with the driver, who was late, the guy who decided to sit sideways blocking the path so no one could get through, and finally the kid who wanted the bus to stop at every stop. It took half an hour to get home, which should have been a 10 minute ride.

So that’s my list of fuck you’s. Why, yes, I am pissed off. How did you guess?

EDIT: Forgot to add, fuck you to my stapler too. I stapled my right thumb today. It hurts. A lot. And bleeds. All over passport photos and stuff. So fuck you stapler that wasn't working right in the first place.

So, it's been a while since I posted something other than a meme. I went to the doctor last Monday and was told she thinks I have sleep apnea. I have to go to this clinic, pick up this weird device and do a sleep test. Apparently I put some sort of electrode on my finger and it measures my blood oxygen levels through the night. If they go down, I'm not breathing. Which would be why I'm always tired. So, if this gets cleared up, I may start being able to sleep more and not almost fall asleep at work.

I also got some stuff for my hair, which has been thinning. I'm going bald!!!! Anyway, it's not approved for use on women in Canada, but it is in the US, so they gave it to me anyway. I get to spray it on twice a day and hope my hair grows back.

And last but not least, I'm getting more blood tests done. "Weird and wonderful" according to the doctor. They're FINALLY checking my thyroid, which I've been asking them to do for a while now. I'm also getting checked for a bunch of other stuff that, according to the doctor, if it comes back positive is "like finding out you have hemophilia. Joy. While it would be nice to know what's wrong with me, I hope it isn't anything too serious.

Anyway, that's about it going on in my life. I have to work six days in a row next week, which is not going to be fun. But apparently I'm going to be training some new people. And! I have exactly 30 days until I'm done work. Yay!

On a slightly negative side, I found out that I can't play oboe anymore. I tried last night and it didn't sound good. I think I'm going to keep at it and hopefully re-learn everything. I miss playing and I need something to cheer me up.

PS. Icon is only because I find Heartless cute. At least the Shadows. Not the big, scary, don't-die-even-when-you-hit-them-over-and-over kind.

Went to the doctor yesterday. After a three hour wait I found out that I have an infection in my face, right under my eyes. I'm on antibiotics right now and then I have to switch glasses, since those are what caused the infection. So I have new glasses coming in about a week.

I also found out that two years ago, when I got x-rays on my knee, I was supposedly called because something was wrong. Never got that phone call, so I've been walking around on a bad knee for two years. Now I have to have more x-rays to try and see what's wrong. Oh, joy.

Yeah, so. I just went down to the corner store to get some stuff for lunch and what do I see? Cops all around my old high school! There were about 6 squad cars in the store parking lot across from the school and another three in front of the school itself. A bunch of cops were huddled over another car looking in the trunk. I'm not sure what was going on, and apparently no one else was either. A bunch of students were grouped on the sidewalk trying to get a closer look, but no one knew anything.

And to think, I would have missed all the excitement if I hadn't gone out for lunch.

PS. When will the rain stop?! It seriously just started pouring. Not slowly build up to rain, but just one second nothing, then next monsoon.

Went shopping today. I left the house at 11am and got back at 4:30. Five and a half hours. Phew! But, I was successful! I had to buy some clothes/shoes for work, and I managed to get them. Not only that, but one of the pairs of shoes I got was $12, marked down from $50. Score!

So, now I'm just going to sit here and relax for the rest of the night. I have to be up early for work tomorrow (yay work!) and I need to rest my feet. I might soak them later. Yeah, that'd be nice.

1. Open a music player.
2. Go to 'all music'/'library'.
3. Hit shuffle/repeat/randomise.
4. Find photos of the first 15 artists/bands that come up (no repeats and no cheating).
5. Have people guess who the artists/bands are.
6. Paste this in your journal and do it too, so I can have fun guessing as well.

In other news, I have a job! I'm going to be working at the portrait studio at WalMart. I start on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that means that I'm going to miss Otafest again this year. Man, after missing both it and Animethon last year (I got back in Alberta on the last day of Animethon) and Anime North and missing another convention in February and Anime North again this year, it seems like I'm not meant to go to a convention. I'm going to have to convince Mom to take me up to Animethon in fall. I need something!

I'm finally back in Calgary! No more Mississauga for me for the next four months!

So, it took four suitcases, a duffel, two backpacks, three boxes by Canada Post, a box and a bed and mattress by Greyhound, but I'm here. Well, okay. The stuff I mailed isn't here yet, but I am! So now I have to unpack (of God!) and find a job. I'm not sure where I'm going to work, but I'll find some place. At least, I will if I want to pay off my credit card.

I also have to start packing up the stuff that I have here. Because in four months I'm not going to have a house. That's right. My house is going to be a hole in the ground. Mom's decided to rebuild the house, so first it has to be taken down. We're going to demolish in August/September, and build while I'm back in Ontario. All I know about the plans is that it's going to be two houses, with us getting the smaller one. Hopefully it'll turn out nice and I'll like my room.

Now, I have to go sleep. This time difference is killing me.

So, I'm sick. I'm coughing, have a stuffed up nose and practically no voice. Not only that but I had to deal with a horrible bitch today. She's running against my roommate in an election and, when they read their speeches tonight, every single thing she said was a slam against roomie. She's such a bitch! I really hope she loses. If she doesn't then I'm resigning from my position. And so is another of the executives. So screw them.

Now, I'm sure that that didn't really make sense to anyone who isn't involved, so here's a meme instead.

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

Today's my birthday!!!! Okay, so I'm kinda late, but I've been busy all day. I actually got up early (I have no idea how) and I went out shopping with mom. She bought me a pair of shoes that are just like an old pair I had a few years ago that I absolutely loved. It was actually pretty funny. We went to Northland Mall to do some other shopping and I saw a pair of shoes I liked (not the ones I got). I tried them in a size 11, but they seemed big, so we got them to see if any other stores had a 10. Market Mall did, so we went over there to try them on. The 10s were too small, but I found another pair that I liked (the ones I got). I decided that the 11s might actually not be that big, since now that I had been walking around a lot my feet had swollen, which is what it would be like most days I'd be wearing them. So we went back to Northland. I tried on the 11s and sure enough they fit. But I decided that they really weren't all that comfortable, so I didn't get them. So, after all that, I just got the other shoes, not the original ones I looked at.

After that we went home and I caught up on email and answered everyone on the Nurtisystem forums who wished me happy birthday. I also met the girl who's going to be living in the basement. Her name's Allison too. She's in forensic nursing, which sounds pretty cool.

Then we went out for dinner with Dad and Grandma. It was great. I totally blew my diet and had fried cheesecake. So worth it.

In terms of presents, it was great. Mom got me season 1 of Heroes and season 1 of Dexter. Now I legally have them! And I can watch all the extras! Grandma got me a straightening iron so that I can actually do my hair properly. I tried to spike it out today, but it didn't work so well. Tomorrow I'm going to try again with the iron. Dad got me a Nintendo DS!!!!! It's so cool! It came with that Brain Age game that's supposed to make you smarter, so it's educational too. And, I just found out that I can use it to play GameBoy Advance games too. I'm so going to get Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Now I just have to find it.

All in all, it was a great birthday. Tomorrow I'm going to a friends house to finish watching 10th Kingdom (yay Wolf!) so I'll have to see if I can pull myself away from the DS. I think I've found a new addiction.

Oh, and I have new glasses and a new haircut. There's a picture here.

Hey all. I just finished eating breakfast (at 2 in the afternoon) and now I'm just relaxing. I got to sleep in until noon today and then spent the next 2 hours cleaning the basement apartment (which I was supposed to do yesterday, but didn't). Oh, God. The dustbunnies! THE DUSTBUNNIES!!!!!! I'm going to have nightmares about those things. The guy who just moved out of there never cleaned. NEVER! I used his mop and it was still in the original packaging. The place was filthy. What is it about guys that they can live like that?

Tonight I'm going over to Grandma's for dinner. She just moved into an assisted living place and wants to show it off to dad and me. I'm also going to pick up the cat that's at her place. Apparently they get along fine when it's just visits, but they don't live together well.

Mom comes home tomorrow from her trip to BC, so I'm going to be doing more cleaning tomorrow morning. I still haven't finished cleaning my room. I did find a bunch of books, clothes and DVDs that I'm going to sell, though, so I should be getting some money soon. Then I'll be able to afford all the new books I want.

Well, I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day going through pictures. I found three cds of photos that I took in high school. Some of them look pretty good, so I'm going to sort them and post some on deviantart. Oh, and I'm eventually going to get around to posting some fanfics on here. I entered a contest on deviantart, so I've actually written some Kingdom Hearts stuff. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get around to posting them here, but it'll be soon.
