10 Things I Don’t Hate About Me

This is the latest topic for the blog-group-thing. We were asked to write about what we like about ourselves. So here we go. A list of 10 things I like about myself.

1. I may have a temper, but I don’t let it control me. Sure, I get pissed off at people, but I don’t say anything to their face. Instead, I go home and vent to my stuffed animals.
2. I might actually have a future in writing, if what my professor says is anything to go by.
   
3. I may be fat, but I’m working to change it and, according to my roommate, it’s working.
4. I’m a good photographer and photomanipulator.
   
5. I’m at the point in my schooling where I can have intelligent conversations about my field. I spent half an hour talking to a friend just about what I was learning in class. And I could actually answer her questions.
6. I make cynicism and sarcasm cool.
   
7. I’m living on my own and, despite some money problems, I’m managing okay. I haven’t killed any roommates (not for lack of desire though), I haven’t burned down the house (though the smoke detector thinks I have), I haven’t had any infestations (beyond normal, living-in-a-forest bugs) and I’m still passing university (barely in some classes, but by God I’m passing).
8. I’m finally over my fear of spiders. If I’d known I only had to kill 100 of them to get over it, I would have done it a long time ago.
   
9. I’m a good and dutiful child. I call my grandma and aunt fairly often to check up on them. I go out to dinner/lunch with them when I’m home. And I never complain about it at all.
10. I radiate joy. ..........................okay. Inside joke.
