People are stupid

I was just in the cafeteria eating lunch when I got surrounded by a group of first years. Apparently they were working on a project for some class. There were three girls and a guy. The girls were great. They had all their notes, textbooks, printouts. They got to work right away. The guy, on the other hand, hadn't brought anything with him. No notes, not even paper to write on. Then, while they were working, he listened to his ipod and talked with a friend who had walked up. And the worst part is that the girls just let him! WHY? Why should they do all the work and let him get a good mark for slacking off? I don't know who I'm more angry at. The guy for being a jackass. Or the girls for letting him.

Anyway, people are stupid. This just reaffirms it.

I'm finally getting around to posting some of the stuff I wrote for class. We had to write about a childhood incident and this is what I ended up with. This is the third edit, so if anyone has any comments I'd love to hear them.
